New Delhi: Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, has expressed his optimism for the national team to secure victory in the upcoming Champions Trophy, starting on February 19th. He also emphasized the importance of defeating arch-rivals India on February 23rd.
During the inauguration of the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium, Sharif praised Pakistan’s talented team and their recent successes. He expressed confidence in their abilities and urged them to maintain their strong performance throughout the prestigious tournament.
“We have a very strong team, and they have performed well recently. However, the real challenge now is not just winning the Champions Trophy, but also defeating our arch-rivals, India, in the upcoming match in Dubai. The entire nation is behind them,” Sharif stated.
