India vs Afghanistan 1st T20I in Delhi to go ahead as scheduled on September 13

The opening T20 of the three-match series between India and Afghanistan scehduled to be held on September 13 will go ahead as per schedule despite Delhi Traffic Police's request to reschedule the game due to the BRICS Summit.

"India–Afghanistan 1st T20I on 13 September at Arun Jaitley Stadium will go ahead as scheduled," Delhi abd District Cricket Association (DDCA) posted on X.

Following a meeting with Delhi Traffic Police, DDCA has been assured of all necessary support and arrangements.
