India Today-Axis My India exit poll predicts INDIA bloc sweep in Tamil Nadu

The BJP is likely to make its Lok Sabha debut in Tamil Nadu with one to three Lok Sabha seats, according to the India Today-Axis My India exit poll. Besides, the INDIA bloc may win 33-37 of the 39 seats, predicts the Axis My India exit poll.

In terms of percentage-wise seat share, the NDA may win 22 per cent seats, the INDIA bloc 46 per cent, AIADMK 21 per cent and 11 per cent for others.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the public rejected the BJP-AIADMK-led alliance in the southern state, and the DMK-led alliance won on 38 out of 39 Lok Sabha constituencies. The DMK-led alliance had a 50.9 per cent vote share, while the NDA alliance parties only had 30.7 per cent last election.
