The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted maiden flight tests of the Integrated Air Defence Weapon System (IADWS) off the Odisha coast on August 23, 2025. This multi-layered air defence platform integrates indigenous components like QRSAM, VSHORADS, and a Directed Energy Weapon.
