India’s Got Latent Controversy: Apoorva Mukhija Records Statement in Over Obscene Remarks

Social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija (known as The Rebel Kid), who had appeared as judges on the controversial episode of Samay Raina's 'India's Got Latent', told the Mumbai Police that the show was not scripted, and they were told to talk "freely". Mukhija, who had also come under criticism along with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia over vulgar and crass remarks on the show, recorded her statement after being summoned by the police.

Cases have already been registered against Mukhija, Allahbadia, Raina and others who were part of the show in Mumbai and Assam for their vulgar and offensive comments. Popular content creators Ashish Chanchlani and Jaspreet Singh are also facing legal action.

Named among the top 100 Digital Stars by Forbes, Mukhija has collaborated with brands such as Nike, Amazon, and Maybelline.
