India, China Hold Diplomatic Talks in Beijing, Discuss Cross-border Cooperation, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

India and China on Tuesday held a fresh round of “positive, constructive and forward-looking" diplomatic talks in Beijing focusing on ensuring effective border management and early resumption exchanges including on trans-border rivers and Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra.

During the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) meeting, both sides discussed various measures and proposals to implement the decisions made by NSA Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during their Special Representatives (SR) dialogue in December.

India and China agreed to collaborate on making significant preparations for the upcoming SR meeting scheduled to take place in India later this year, as stated by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). T
