Ibrahim Zadran Doubtful For One-Off Test Against New Zealand Due To Injury

New Delhi: Afghanistan is set to host New Zealand in a one-off Test match at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground on September 9, Monday. The much-awaited and anticipated clash would be the first time when both teams would face each other in red-ball cricket. New Zealand would be looking for a bounce back, having lost their last two Tests against Australia. Tim Southee will be leading the Black Caps in their big sub-continent tour, which includes a tour to Sri Lanka for two Tests and then three Tests against India.

Talking about Afghanistan, they would be looking to make full use of the ‘home conditions’ having lost their last three Tests against Ireland, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
