Gaza plan: Trump invites India to be part of Board of Peace; what is it

United States President Donald Trump has invited Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to join the Board of Peace on Gaza. The development has been confirmed by the Pakistan foreign office spokesperson.

Pakistan has said it will remain engaged with international efforts for peace and security in Gaza, leading to a lasting solution to the Palestine issue in accordance with United Nations resolutions

“Islamabad has signalled alignment with UN-backed resolution efforts in Gaza. The US outreach to Pakistan is likely to reshape regional optics on Gaza," said intelligence sources.
