Gambhir’s Strong Advice For Rohit On Ishan Kishan vs KL Rahul Debate

New Delhi: Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir gave strong advice for Rohit Sharma and Indian management over the ongoing Ishan Kishan vs KL Rahul debate. He backed the left-hander as Kishan’s form in the 50-over format has been remarkable in recent times. He has four-consecutive half-centuries and has made a strong statement for himself. “India will make a huge blunder if they don’t play Ishan Kishan ahead of KL Rahul,” Gambhir said on Star Sports.

Recently, Mohammed Kaif and Gautam Gambhir engaged in a heated discussion over Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul about who is the ideal candidate for the No. 5 batting position following latter’s impressive 82-run knock against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

During the discussion on Star Sports, Kaif expressed the opinion that, despite Ishan’s impressive half-century against Pakistan, he should make room for KL Rahul in the lineup. In contrast, Gambhir argued that current form holds greater significance than a player’s reputation or name.
