Shots were fired at comedian and actor Kapil Sharma’s cafe in Canada on Thursday, the second such incident in a month.
The cafe, located in Surrey, British Columbia, is owned by comedian Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni Chatrath. It came under a similar attack on July 9, which authorities believe was orchestrated by the Laddi gang linked to the banned Khalistani terrorist outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).
Last week, the cafe hosted Surrey mayor Brenda Lock and local policemen.
In a post on Instagram, Kapil Sharma shared a video clip of the get-together and wrote, “United we stand against violence."
