Eye on China, India to help Bangladesh conserve Teesta river

India and Bangladesh signed agreements on various areas during PM Modi's meeting with Sheikh Hasina. They announced a technical team to manage the Teesta river inside Bangladesh amidst China's interest. The water-sharing agreement remains unresolved due to opposition from West Bengal.
