Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Tuesday said that he will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week during his visit to the United States.
Trump announced the meeting with PM Modi at a campaign event in Michigan, while he was speaking about US trade with India, news agency Reuters reported. However, he gave no details on where the two leaders would meet.
PM Modi is scheduled to make a three-day visit to the US beginning September 21 to attend the annual Quad Summit. US President Joe Biden will be hosting the fourth 'Quad Leaders Summit' in Delaware. Besides Modi and Biden, it will be attended by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida.
