Donald Trump administration detains Turkish student at Tufts, revokes visa

US federal authorities detained an international student studying at Tufts University near Boston and revoked their visa, the university said in a statement.

Tufts University said that the graduate student was taken into US custody from an off-campus apartment building in Somerville, Massachusetts and that it had no further details.

The detention comes from US President Donald Trump’s administration which continues to target international students as it seeks to crack down on immigration.
