Dog’s severed head found inside fridge at momo factory near Chandigarh
This is not for the weak of the stomach! In your worst nightmare, you might not have imagined eating a dog in Punjab. But a development at a momo factory may just confirm your worst fear. A dog's severed head has been found in a freezer, sparking fear that the food prepared at the factory might be contaminated.
The factory in Mohali district's Mattaur village is now facing an investigation. Authorities in Mohali have launched a thorough investigation after the gruesome discovery during a raid at the fast food manufacturing unit in Mattaur. Officials, cracking down on unsanitary food production, found the dog’s head stored inside a refrigerator at the facility.
The raid was part of a two-day operation targeting unhygienic food manufacturing units according to a report by India Today. Acting on complaints from local residents, a municipal team on Sunday stormed a momo and spring roll factory operating out of a residential building.
