Digvesh Rathi and Nitish Rana have been fined heavily for their on-field altercation during the Eliminator match of the DelhiDelhiDelhi Premier LeaguePremier LeaguePremier League 2025 (DPL 2025). The fixture between West Delhi Lions and South Delhi Superstarz saw Rathi and Nitish at loggerheads and had to be separated by other players and umpires.

Rathi has been fined 80% of the Match Fees for a Code of Conduct breach under Article 2.2 (Level 2) for the conduct contrary to the spirit of the game. On the other hand, Rana has been fined 50% of the match fees for a Code of Conduct breach under Article 2.6 (Level 1) - using a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during a match.

There was another heated moment witnessed during the game as South Delhi Superstarz’s fast bowler Aman Bharti gave a send off to West Delhi Lions’ batter Krish Yadav (31 off 22) after dismissing him in the 11th over of the match. Yadav retaliated, exchanging words with the seamer on his way back but was pushed away by the umpire.
