The countdown for the Delhi Assembly elections has begun, with voting scheduled for February 5. Preparations have been completed to ensure a smooth electoral process. According to the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer, 1.56 crore voters will cast their votes across 13,766 polling stations.

To maintain law and order, 220 companies of paramilitary forces, 19,000 home guards, and 35,626 Delhi police officers will be deployed.The election is crucial for several political heavyweights, including Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Atishi, Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, and Sandeep Dikshit, who are all contesting for key seats.

The total voter base comprises 83,76,173 male voters and 72,36,560 female voters. Notably, 2,08,302 first-time voters aged 18-19 will participate in the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections.As the political parties—AAP, BJP, and Congress—gear up for a fierce contest, the election's outcome will play a significant role in shaping the political landscape of Delhi.
