Dalit man's death in UP cop custody triggers violence

Major violence erupted in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad over the alleged death of a 25-year-old Dalit boy in police custody.

According to the details, the victim was arrested on June 19, on charges of theft. The development came after the police recovered a two-wheeler from his custody.

The following day, the man, identified as Akash, reportedly fell ill in police custody and was given primary treatment.
