Cross border smuggling busted, NIA arrests key accused

The NIA has arrested Lalngaihawma from Aizawl, Mizoram. He was involved in a cross-border smuggling network of arms, ammunition, and explosives operating in northeastern states and across the international border. Lalngaihawma colluded with operatives from insurgent groups. They distributed weapons and explosives for violent terrorist acts and criminal activities. The case was registered by NIA in December last year.
