Collector urges public to donate for Armed Forces Flag Day

District Collector O. Anand said that the government is taking steps to allot land to ex-army personnel and families of the martyred soldiers.

Mr. Anand donated to the Armed Forces Flag Day fund on Sunday (December 07, 2025) and appealed to the public to donate generously to the fund. On the occasion, the Collector commended the services of the ex-army personnel.

District Sainik Welfare officer P. Timmappa thanked the Collector for assuring to allot land to the ex-servicemen. A rally was taken out from Arts College to Clock Tower on the occasion.
