Chirag Paswan meets Nitish Kumar amid Bihar chief minister suspense

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday, a day after the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won a massive victory in the state, securing 202 out of 243 seats. “I met him to congratulate him. The Chief Minister supported our candidates,” Paswan said after the meeting.

Speaking about the NDA’s win, he added, “This is a historic victory under Nitish Kumar’s leadership. A team from LJP (RV) visited him to congratulate him. I am happy that the Chief Minister acknowledged the contribution of every alliance partner. He even supported an LJP (RV) candidate during voting. In my constituency, Alauli, I voted for the JD(U) candidate. This proves that the claims of a rift between JD(U) and LJP (RV) were false.”
