Centre decides to review Rs 8 lakh criteria for EWS

The central government on Thursday told the Supreme Court that it has decided to revisit the criteria for determining economically weaker section (EWS) for getting the benefit reservation in view of court raising question on rationality of fixing Rs 8 lakh annual income limit for EWS.
