BJP warns of action against comedian Kunal Kamra over t-shirt mocking RSS

Comedian Kunal Kamra has once again stirred controversy after posting a photograph on social media in which he is seen wearing a T-shirt that allegedly mocks the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The post drew a strong reaction from the BJP, which on Tuesday warned of possible police action.

In light of the previous controversy, when the comedian faced backlash for criticising Eknath Shinde, Kamra, in his latest post, clarified that the photograph referencing the RSS was "not clicked at a comedy club." However, it should be noted that the full 'R' is not visible in the image, and the letters on Kamra’s T-shirt could just as easily read 'PSS'.

Maharashtra minister and senior BJP leader Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that authorities would take action against anyone sharing “objectionable” content online.
