Bihar Govt Has Fixed New Target Of 12 Lakh Government Jobs By 2025: Nitish Kumar
Patna: BiharBiharBihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced on Thursday that the state government has set a new goal of providing 12 lakh government jobs to the youth by next year. Speaking after hoisting the tricolour at Gandhi Maidan, Kumar emphasized Bihar's progress, noting the state's high growth rate and commitment to inclusive development.
Kumar stated, "Previously, we promised 10 lakh government jobs for our youth, but now we've set a new target of 12 lakh jobs before the 2025 assembly elections. The state government is actively working towards this goal."
Under the 'Saat Nischay Part-2' initiative, launched in 2020, the state had initially aimed to provide 10 lakh government jobs and create 10 lakh employment opportunities. "So far, we have already provided government jobs to around 5.16 lakh people, and the process is underway to provide 2 lakh more jobs," he said.
