Bihar floods worsen as embankments of Kosi, Bagmati rivers breached

Severe flooding has hit several regions of Bihar due to heavy water release from the Kosi Barrage after intense rainfall. Floodwaters have reached the Katra Bakuchi Power Grid in Muzaffarpur, causing power outages for 45,000 homes. The situation has disrupted normal life, particularly in Supaul and Sitamarhi, with many homes inundated.
