Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again: Delhi-UP choose Kartik Aaryan over Ajay Devgn?

Diwali is just around the corner, and this year it’s set to be packed with celebrations and entertainment. On Diwali, Bollywood will witness two major releases: Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again. As theatre halls brace to screen both films, T-Series, which is producing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has approached the Competition Commission of India (CCI).

According to a report by The Indian Express, the makers of Singham Again have convinced PVR INOX to allot 60 per cent of the shows to their film. “Furthermore, certain single-screen theatres have been asked to dedicate all shows to Singham Again, with some allowed to screen Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 only in early morning slots,” the report quotes a source.

Typically, when two big movies are scheduled for the same release date, the producers of each film try to persuade distributors and exhibitors to prioritize their release. Adding to this competition is the Diwali festival, which can significantly boost a movie’s box office performance.
