A Bengaluru-based woman doctor has been booked by the police for allegedly misbehaving with cabin crew and threatening to crash an Air India flight bound for Surat, Gujarat. The alarming incident occurred aboard a Tuesday afternoon flight departing from Kempegowda International Airport.

The accused, identified as Dr Vyas Hiral Mohanbhai, 36, a resident of Yelahanka, reportedly created a ruckus shortly after boarding the aircraft around 2:45 p.m. According to the police, she placed her handbag in the front row and then demanded that cabin crew carry it to her assigned seat in row 20F.

When questioned about the improper placement of her bag, Dr Mohanbhai allegedly became agitated and verbally abusive. Despite multiple attempts by the flight crew and even the pilot to defuse the situation, she refused to cooperate and began shouting at both airline staff and fellow passengers.
