Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday (September 15, 2024) assured the residents of Mahis tehsil that the forest department, district administration and police will continue working until the wolf threat ends.

He also conducted an aerial survey of the region and met families of those who lost their lives in the recent wolf attacks during the human-wildlife conflict.

In Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district, fear has gripped the villagers of Mehsi Tehsil. Over the past month and a half, a pack of wolves has killed seven people, including six children and a woman. The latest attack, on the night of August 26, claimed yet another life. To combat this terror, the forest department has launched 'Operation Bhediya.' | Video Credit: The Hindu
