Bahraich violence: Yogi Adityanath meets riot victim’s family, situation tense

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday met with the family members of the 22-year-old man killed in violence in the state's Bahraich district on Sunday, October 13.

Ram Gopal Mishra's family members met the chief minister in Lucknow along with the BJP MLA, Sureshvar Singh, and demanded strict action against the accused.

"I have seen the condition of my brother, I brought him back after the violence. No one was there, even from the district administration, to take care of my brother. There was negligence on the part of the local administration. We only want his (accused) encounter," Mishra's brother told the media after meeting Yogi Adityanth.
