Baaghi 4 vs The Bengal files: which film will dominate day 1’s box office battle?

This Friday has brought fierce competition at the box office. On one side is Tiger Shroff's explosive action film Baaghi 4, and on the other side is Vivek Agnihotri's much-talked-about political drama The Bengal Files. The Bengal Files and Baaghi 4, both the films are released on the big screen in India today, on 5 September.

The theme and starcast of both the films are quite different. Baaghi 4 is an action-packed and blood-soaked story while The Bengal Files brings to light that painful chapter of history that shook Bengal. Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa will be seen with Tiger Shroff in Baaghi 4. On the other hand, The Bengal Files stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar in lead roles. The casting of both the films is strong, which can attract the audience to the theatres.

The story of Baaghi 4 is different and more emotional than the previous episodes. The hero of the film, Ronnie, survives a horrific train accident, but his life is shattered by guilt and grief. After his mental condition deteriorates, he gets trapped between reality and illusion. On the other hand, The Bengal Files depicts the riots and Noakhali violence of the 1940s. The film is about 3 hours 24 minutes long and shows the truths of bloodshed and betrayal.
