Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has sold his luxurious duplex apartment in Oshiwara, Mumbai, for an impressive Rs 83 crore, according to property registration documents. The deal marks a remarkable 168% gain, as the property was originally purchased for Rs 31 crore in April 2021. The transaction was finalized in January 2025, based on analysis by Square Yards using IGR registration records.

Spanning 529.94 sqm (approximately 5,704 sqft) of built-up area and 481.75 sqm (approximately 5,185.62 sqft) of carpet area, the property also includes a sprawling 445.93 sqm terrace (nearly 4,800 sqft). In addition, it comes with six mechanized car parking spaces.

The sale incurred a stamp duty of Rs 4.98 crore and registration charges of Rs 30,000, reflecting the premium nature of the transaction.
