Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday reached Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, voicing his "eagerness" to take a dip at the Sangam Ghat and seek blessings from the saints at the Maha Kumbh Mela.
After arriving at Prayagraj, Amit Shah received a warm welcome from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with his cabinet ministers.
Calling Maha Kumbh a "unique symbol of Sanatan culture," Shah, in a post on his official X handle, writes, "The Kumbh showcases the life philosophy of Sanatan Dharma, which is rooted in harmony."
