Bollywood star Alia Bhatt and Tunisian actress Hend Sabry received prestigious Golden Globes awards at a gala dinner of the fifth edition Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. Bhatt, who shattered box office records and earned critical acclaim with her movies like Highway, Raazi, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi and Gangubai Kathiawadi, has added another feather to her cape.

As reported by Variety, in her winning speech, she talked about telling more powerful stories in the future. She further shared her happiness of being part of the Golden Globes, which is an iconic part of the global awards universe.

On the other hand, Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne said some good words about Hend Sabry and said she is a “a truly iconic performer and humanitarian whose body of work reflects the depth, power, and global impact of Arab cinema.” For Alia Bhatt, she said, “her exceptional contributions to international cinema.”
