Fans were excited about Nandamuri Balakrishna's highly anticipated film Akhanda 2, but now audiences have been dealt a major blow. The release of this sequel to the 2021 superhit Akhanda has been abruptly postponed indefinitely. According to reports, this decision was made just hours before the film's release. Gulte.com reports that the film has been postponed due to financial difficulties. This has caused disappointment in the film industry and the business community, as the pairing of Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu was a highly anticipated one.
The film's producers released an official statement on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), writing, “With a heavy heart, we regret to inform you that #Akhanda2 will not be releasing as scheduled due to unavoidable circumstances. This is a painful moment for us, and we truly understand the disappointment it brings to every fan and movie lover awaiting the film.”
He further said, “We are working tirelessly to resolve the matter at the earliest. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. Your support means the world to us. We promise to share a positive update very soon.”
