Air India is going to restore some international flights that it paused after the June 12 Ahmedabad crash, from August 1, an official statement said on Tuesday. The full restoration of flights is planned from October 1, 2025.
A total of 260 people, including the crew, died after Air India flight AI 171 crashed moments after taking off from the Ahmedabad airport on June 12. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane crashed into a hostel near the airport.
"The partial resumption will see restoration of some frequencies from 1st August, relative to July, with full restoration planned from 1st October 2025," the statement said.
