Actors Rajinikanth, Dhanush Receive Bomb Threat Emails, Police Launch Probe

In shocking news, two of the superstars of the South industry — Rajinikanth and his ex-son-in-law Dhanush — received bomb threat emails on Tuesday, confirmed the Tamil Nadu police. The message claimed that explosives had been planted at their homes, and it was received by the State Director General of Police (DGP) on Monday.

According to the Teynampet police, who have jurisdiction over the actors’ residences, the first email threatening Rajinikanth was received at around 8:30 a.m. on Monday.

After receiving the threats, the Teynampet police went to Rajinikanth’s house for a security check with a bomb detection and disposal squad. To their relief, they were informed by Thalaiva’s security personnel that no unidentified person had entered his home.
