Aamir Khan's Sister Has This To Say About Actor's Relationship With Girlfriend Gauri

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has been making headlines ever since he confirmed his relationship with Gauri Spratt on his 60th birthday. The couple was recently spotted together in public for the first time, drawing a lot of attention. Aamir and Gauri have been dating for 18 months.

On Thursday, Aamir’s sister, Nikhat Hegde, spoke about their relationship during an event. When asked about Gauri, she had only good things to say. “We are very happy for Aamir and Gauri because she is a wonderful person. We just want them to always be happy together,” Nikhat said at the trailer launch of her upcoming Malayalam film, L2: Empuraan.

During the event, director Prithviraj Sukumaran revealed that he had no idea Nikhat was Aamir Khan’s sister when she auditioned for the film. “I know Aamir sir quite well, but I didn’t know Nikhat was his sister. When I saw her audition tape, I told my casting director, ‘I want her for the role.’ She then told me, ‘By the way, she’s Aamir sir’s sister.’ I was surprised and later called Aamir sir. He simply asked me, ‘Is my sister good in the film?’ I told him, ‘Sir, she’s more than just good,’” Prithviraj shared.
