3 civilians killed in Jammu and Kashmir, government announces compensation

The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Saturday said that three civilians were killed in Poonch district and a legal action has been initiated in the incident.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the authorities stated that the deaths were reported on Friday and compensation has been announced for the families.

“The death of three civilians was reported yesterday in Baffliaz of Poonch District. The medico legal formalities were conducted and legal action in this matter has been initiated by the appropriate authority,” the Public Relations Department of the Jammu and Kashmir administration posted on X.
