24-year-old Indian origin woman dies in Melbourne-Delhi Qantas flight before take-off

Before the aircraft could take off, a 24-year-old woman of Indian descent passed away on a Qantas flight from Melbourne to Delhi. For the first time in four years, Manpreet Kaur, who aspired to be a chef, was thrilled to be returning to her family in India.

According to News.com.au, Kaur, who "felt unwell" prior to the flight, boarded the aircraft without any problems. But she instantly passed away as she struggled to fasten her seatbelt. When emergency services and cabin crew arrived in Melbourne to help her, the aircraft was still at the boarding gate.

Her friend Gurdip Grewal told the Herald Sun, via News.com.au, "She was struggling to put her seatbelt on when she got on the plane." "Just before her flight started, she fell in front of her seat and died on the spot." The infectious disease tuberculosis, which mostly affects the lungs, is thought to have been the cause of death.
