Lucknow: Five days after singer Ankit Baliyan was sprayed with bullets, the Uttar Pradesh police on Monday shot dead two sharpshooters, who were allegedly involved in the killing, in an encounter in Shamli district.
According to the police sources, the two alleged sharpshooters, who carried a cash reward of Rs 50 thousand each on their heads, were identified as Sumit and Mohit.
The duo was wanted along with two others in connection with the killing of Baliyan.
