Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been the talk of the town. The show has been in the news ever since Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe's termination was announced. They were removed from the show for their unprofessional behaviour. This news came as a big shock as Armaan and Ruhi/Roohi were important characters in the show.

The production revealed that Shehzada and Pratiksha caused trouble on the sets. Shehzada was mistreating the staff while Pratiksha was not good with her work. It was reported that they were in love and spent a lot of time together in the makeup room that caused delays in shoot.
