Monday’s Pakistan Super League clash between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators was postponed by a day after the league confirmed that Australian leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed tested positive for Covid-19 and was put in isolation.

Ahmed plays for Islamabad United, one of the teams that was to be in action on Monday. The game was initially pushed from its 7 pm start to 9 pm, and was later postponed to the following day.

The official Twitter handle of the league on Monday also confirmed that the other players of Islamabad United had tested negative and said that those of Quetta Gladiators will also be tested later in the evening.
