Karan Johar slams baseless rumours on Student Of The Year 3 after reports of Asim Riaz - Suhana Khan's casting goes viral

Several media reports suggested that Asim Riaz, the first runner-up of Bigg Boss 13, has been offered a film by Karan Johar. Speculations were rife that KJo decided to cast Asim opposite Shah Rukh Khan‘s daughter, Suhana Khan, in Student of The Year 3. While there seemed no truth to these rumours already, the director took to social media on Tuesday morning to clear the air. Karan made a tweet clarifying that the stories about him making SOTY 3 with Asim are ‘baseless.’ He further requested everyone to steer clear away from such reports and stop spreading silly rumours.

KJo wrote, “Absolutely baseless stories making the rounds of SOTY3 !!!! My request to everyone publishing this fabrication is to kindly Stop! Please!🙏” (sic)

Actor Sidharth Shukla was declared as the winner of Bigg Boss 13 and that irked Asim’s fans big time. As soon as Sid lifted the trophy, various hashtags demanding audience to boycott Colors TV started trending on Twitter. Asim was also deemed as ‘public’s winner’ and the ‘real winner’ of Bigg Boss 13.
