Lok Sabha Elections 2024: In an interesting development, two BJP candidates, including a sitting MP, announced their decision to withdraw from the upcoming polls. In separate social media posts, the BJP candidates from Vadodara and Sabarkantha Lok Sabha constituencies in Gujarat, announced that they are pulling out from the electoral race. Both cited “personal reasons” for the decision.

BJP MP Ranjan Bhatt announced she was withdrawing from the electoral race for “personal reasons”. Bhatt, the sitting BJP Lok Sabha MP from Vadodara, had been renominated by the party from the same constituency for the upcoming general elections.

“I, Ranjanben Dhananjay Bhatt, am unwilling to contest the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 due to my personal reasons,” the BJP leader announced on X.
