At least two people were killed, while at least 165 others were injured following a gas explosion in Kenya's capital Nairobi.

According to news agency Reuters, the incident happened on Thursday, just before midnight (local Kenyan time).

A spokesperson posted on X that the fire, in Nairobi's Embakasi neighbourhood, was reported at a gas refilling company, whose building was badly damaged.
