Noida Assembly Election results 2022 (Noida Vidhan Sabha Natija 2022): BJP's Pankaj Singh wins by RECORD margin

Noida Vidhan Sabha Chunav Final Results: BJP MLA from Noida constituency and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s son Pankaj Singh has thanked the people of Noida for their ‘blessing, affection and support’ following his comfortable victory in the Assembly election. “I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people, the hardworking party workers and office bearers for the blessings, affection and support received from the people of Noida,” Pankaj Singh tweeted. Pankaj defeated his nearest rival Samajwadi Party’s Sunil Chaudhary by a margin of 181513 votes. Pankaj received 244319 votes (70.16%), while Sunil could manage to get only 62806 votes (18.04%).

BJP's Pankaj Singh, Congress candidate Pankhuri Pathak and SP's Sunil Chauhan are the two three top faces who are now eagerly waiting for the results of Noida assembly elections. While Pankaj Singh is the son of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Pankhuri Pathak is one of the most prominent TV faces for Congress party. SP's Sunil Chaudhary is local politician who has also fought the elections in 2017.

Samajwadi Party has repeated its 2017 candidate, Sunil Chaudhary, as the candidate for Noida Vidhan Sabha (result awaited) seat. Sunil Chaudhary had fought a previous Vidhan Sabha election unsuccessfully as a SP-Congress combine candidate in 2017. This time, Sunil Chaudhary is fighting against sitting MLA Pankaj Singh - who had defeated him with a margin of over 1 lakh votes last time; and Pankhuri Pathak - a candidate from the Congress party who is fighting an Assembly seat for the first time.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's son is contenting Noida assembly election on a BJP ticket. Pankaj Singh is the sitting BJP MLA from Noida. Last time, Pankaj Singh had defeated his nearest rival Sunil Chaudhary with a margin of over 1 lakh votes. Pankaj Singh had made his political debut in 2017 only. However, he has been active in politics since the year 2004.

Pankhuri Pathak, 29, is the Congress candidate from Noida. Pankhuri Pathak shot to fame for presenting Samajwadi Party's views on the television in the year 2014-2017. Pankhuri Pathak, a former Delhi university student, has made her Assembly election debut from Noida. Pankhuri Pathak has no political background and yet she has been able to get a ticket from a national party for the Noida assembly polls 2022. Pankhuri Pathak was associated to Samajwadi Party for a long time before finally jumping the ship to Congress party.
