Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Sunday alleged that Russia has abducted another elected Ukrainian mayor.

In a Twitter post, Dmytro Kuleba claimed that Yevhen Matveyev, mayor of Dniprorudne city, was kidnapped by "Russian war criminals" on Sunday.

"Today, Russian war criminals abducted another democratically elected Ukrainian mayor, head of Dniprorudne Yevhen Matveyev. Getting zero local support, invaders turn to terror. I call on all states and international organisations to stop Russian terror against Ukraine and democracy," Dmytro Kuleba said in a tweet.
