Avika Gor reacts to rumours of having secret child with Manish Raisinghan

Avika Gor has often been rumoured to be dating her Sasural Simar Ka co-star Manish Raisinghan. The duo share a close bond and have even collaborated for various projects. There were several rumours surrounding the actors and one of them suggested that they had a secret child together. However, in a new interview, Avika Gor quashed all such rumours and called it impossible. The actress also said that Manish Raisinghan is almost her father's age and he is the closest friend she has.

AVIKA GOR QUASHES RUMOURS ABOUT HAVING CHILD WITH MANISH RAISINGHAN

Avika Gor told RJ Siddharth Kanan in an interview, “The rumours were baseless. It's impossible! There were articles like humne bachcha chhupa ke rakha hai (we have a secret child hidden somewhere). We are very close, even now. He’ll always have a very important space in my life. In my journey from the age of 13 till now, he has been the closest friend that I’ve ever had.”

Since Manish is 18 years older than her, Avika said that he is almost her father’s age and she has learnt a lot from him. “I’ve learned so much from him. He’s 18 years older than me, by the way. When I saw how he keeps the child within him alive, it is a big thing to learn. Even now when people ask me if anything was happening between us, I’m like ‘yaar, mere papa se thoda chhota hai woh (he’s almost my father’s age),” she said.

Avika Gor also said that initially they were affected by the rumours and kept a distance from each other. However, later they decided there was no point in doing that. She said, “We never looked back since then. Whenever we read articles about us, we laugh.”

While Avika Gor is dating MTV Roadies fame Milind Chandwani, Manish Raisinghan married actress Sangeita Chauhaan last year in June. They tied the knot in a gurudwara in Mumbai in the presence of their immediate family members. The couple's parents stayed at home due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Manish Raisinghan and Sangeita Chauhaan met on the sets of Ek Shringaar Swabhimaan and fell in love.

Meanwhile, Avika often shares adorable pictures with her boyfriend on social media. Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani met during one of his NGO workshops. They have worked together on various other projects, and eventually fell in love. The rumours of them dating started in March when Avika wished Milind on his birthday with a love-filled post.
