Manchester City took the lead when Norwegian striker Erling Haaland converted a penalty in the 25th minute. However, Chelsea managed to turn things around and went 2-1 up with goals from Thiago Silva and Raheem Sterling. Manuel Akanji leveled the score again to make it 2-2 at half-time.

As the second half kicked off, Haaland quickly re-established City's lead, scoring in the 47th minute. However, the Blues were not to stay down for long. Nicolas Jackson retaliated 20 minutes into the second half, leveling the game again at 3-3.

Chelsea’s tenacity was momentarily eclipsed when City seemed to secure the win with Rodri's deflected strike in the 86th minute. However, City defender Ruben Dias made a big error and brought Chelsea striker Armando Broja down in the box in the 94th minute.

Former Manchester City midfielder Cole Palmer, stepped up to take the high-pressure penalty and calmly slotted it past Ederson to grab a late point for his new club.

LIVERPOOL EASE PAST BRENTFORD

Mohamed Salah has broken yet another scoring record, reaching 200 goals in English football following Liverpool's 3-0 triumph over Brentford on Sunday. This achievement also makes him the first player in Liverpool's history to score in each of the first six home league games of a season.

The first of Salah's goals came in the 39th minute, an exceptional goal sequence starting with a delivery from Trent Alexander-Arnold to Nunez who then found Salah. The Egyptian attacker found himself behind Brentford's defense and executed a left-footed finish into the far corner, breaking the game's initial deadlock.

Clearly on a roll, Mohammed Salah followed up his first goal with a second in the 62nd minute. Kostas Tsimikas made a sliding save to keep the ball in play, found Salah unmarked at the back post, who headed the ball into the net, doubling Liverpool's lead. The final nail on Brentford's coffin came from Diogo Jota in the 74th minute, who, cutting inside, curled the ball past keeper Mark Flekken.

Salah's landmark achievement propelled Liverpool up the Premier League table, where they now hold second place with 27 points after 12 matches overtaking both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
