Karisma seals her lips as Anurag Basu includes Alia Bhatt in Kapoors' family of actors
Karisma Kapoor made a gesture of zipping her lips when Anurag Basu included Alia Bhatt in Kapoors' family of actors. The actor was a guest judge on Super Dancer Chapter 4.
Karisma Kapoor shares a good rapport with her cousin Ranbir Kapoor's girlfriend Alia Bhatt. They are often seen together posing for pictures at Kapoor family events. However, when Anurag Basu recently suggested that Alia should also be a part of the Kapoors’ “family of actors”, the Hero No 1 actress sealed her lips. She recently appeared on the dance reality show Super Dancer Chapter 4 where she talked about her legendary family with many actors.

A video clip of Karisma Kapoor from the sets of Super Dancer Chapter 4 is going viral where she is seen talking about the Kapoor family and the number of actors from the family. When one of the contestants on the show, Sprihaa Hrishi Kashyap, asked Karisma how many actors are there in the Kapoor family, the actress is seen naming all of them. From great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor, grandfather Raj Kapoor, granduncles Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor to dad Randhir Kapoor, uncle Rishi Kapoor and uncle Rajiv Kapoor to some from the younger generation, like herself, her sister Kareena and cousins Ranbir Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain and the youngest of the lot Zahan Kapoor, the actress named all of them.
Just as she was done naming the actors from her family, Anurag Basu mumbled Alia Bhatt’s name. At this, Karisma responded by a gesture suggesting zipping her lips. Alia and Ranbir Kapoor are dating and are expected to tie the knot soon.

Alia Bhatt has been missing Ranbir Kapoor, who is busy shooting for Luv Ranjan's yet-to-be-titled film with Shraddha Kapoor. In the meantime, she recently took stock of the construction of his new home with his mother Neetu Kapoor. The two were snapped at Krishna Raj Bungalow, inspecting the progress of the construction.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been in a relationship for quite some time now. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir Kapoor said that they were to get married in 2020, but then Covid-19 struck. He said, "It would’ve been sealed had the pandemic not hit our lives. I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick-mark that goal very soon in my life."
Alia Bhatt is often seen spending time with Ranbir Kapoor's cousins, including Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. In fact, Alia and Kareena will also work together in Karan Johar's Takht, which also stars Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
