Amitabh Bachchan today once again went down memory lane and shared an old photo from the music rehearsal of his 1979 film Mr Natwarlal. The photo also features a little Hrithik Roshan as he accompanied his uncle Rajesh Roshan to the rehearsal. Little Hrithik can be seen looking at Big B while he rehearsed for the first song he ever sang for a film.

WHAT DID AMITABH BACHCHAN POST?

Amitabh Bachchan posted a black and white photo of himself from the music rehearsal of his first song for Mr Natwarlal. The picture features little Hrithik Roshan marvelling at Big B. Sharing the photo, the Gulabo Sitabo actor wrote, "The first song I sang for film.. ‘mere paas aao ..’ for Mr Natwarlal .. music rehearsal with Rajesh Roshan , Music Director .. AND .. all this being overseen by one ‘palti maar ke ‘ little one sitting on the bench ... a certain HRITHIK ROSHAN (sic)."

ABOUT MERE PAAS AAO FROM MR NATWARLAL

Mere Paas Aao Mere Dosto was the first song that Amitabh Bachchan sang for a film. It featured Amitabh Bachchan with many child actors as he sang for the kids. While Amitabh had previously narrated a few verses for Yash Chopra’s Kabhi Kabhie, which were used in a song, Mere Paas Aao was his first full fledged song for a film.

Released in 1979, Mr Natwarlal featured Rekha alongside Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Rakesh Kumar, the film was based on the story of a conman named Natwarlal.

HRITHIK ROSHAN WITH AMITABH BACHCHAN

Hrithik Roshan has worked with Amitabh Bachchan on a number of projects. The two actors shared screen space in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Lakshya. In K3G, Amitabh played Hrithik's father, while in the war film Lakshya, he played his commanding officer.

WHAT'S ON THE WORK FRONT?

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Shoojit Sircar's Gulabo Sitabo with Ayushmann Khurrana. The film released on Amazon Prime Video in June. Currently, Big B is hosting the 12th season of the TV quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.

He will be seen next in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna. In Chehre, he will share screen space with Emraan Hashmi. Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in the sports drama Jhund. Last month, Big B signed a film called MayDay, which will be directed by Ajay Devgn. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh.
